Virtual Session: Unconscious Bias – November 5
November 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm$175
BlessingWhite research shows that to best exhibit an inclusive mindset, leaders need to understand and combat personal, unconscious bias so that they can build collaborative, psychologically safe spaces for diverse teams.
Unconscious Bias helps individuals build critical self-awareness by uncovering potential bias blind spots, introducing a language to discuss inclusion, and providing practical, easy to apply tools that contribute toward an inclusive culture. Through this experience, leaders and individuals move beyond surface-level conversations to initial self-reflection in order to develop their skills in creating inclusive environments. This experience creates a launching point for awareness and new habits so that leaders can have an impact at work and beyond.
By the end of this session, learners will be able to:
- Understand the value of inclusivity in advancing organizations
- Identify unconscious bias and use an empathetic approach to dealing with it in themselves and others
- Manage bias effectively and positively affect the larger company culture
